The Salt in the Sky
To me, this ink and sea salt series of abstractions is another succession of compelling stories.
They are all subjected to a process that involves handling Sumi and India black ink, and then sprinkling sea salt in the scarcely pigmented areas of the paper.
At times, these landscapes seem to be Earthly. they could also be attributed to extraterrestrial geography or a surreal realm outside our reach.
There is too much to be said, and even more to be felt, concerning the creation of this artistic train.
The development of this series shall not be intimidated by scrutiny.
More to be conveyed in words soon.
More to be felt soon, as other illustrations are due to depict the mysterious ways of worlds we could see, and set foot into, plus others that haven't yet come to be.
Gratitude,
